Martyne joined us in late 2011 and is an associate of ACOR and both a Senior Hydraulic Consultant and the Hydraulic and Fire BIM Lead.

Martyne studied environmental science and zoology at university and worked as a project officer for national parks and wildlife. Though she loved this career path, she felt as though her job options in this space were limited. This led her into studing architectural drafting, building services drafting and hydraulics, where she joined ACOR during her final subject of her hydraulic Diploma.

Eleven years on and Martyne is still here and learning. The culture and the way ACOR cares about its people is a big part of why she has stuck and grown with ACOR. There is a strong focus on teamwork and shared successes, rather than a competitive culture. Martyne values this and is proud of being a part of an intimate, high performing team who are achieving great things and moving ACOR forward in the industry.

Martyne is also an integral part of ACOR’s shift into the digital space, leading the fire and hydraulics BIM development for our business. Her natural progression into this role is a result of her passion for her work and interest in this space, and ACOR has supported her journey here every step of the way.

Outside of ACOR, Martyne still cares deeply for the environment. She finds her happy place outdoors, having a strong connection to nature, and enjoys taking long bushwalks in her spare time.
